If we’re going to open everything back up while the virus is STILL being spread, what the he-l was the point of having a ‘stay at home/shut down’ stuff for??

      > The plan was to not overwhelm our hospitals like what happened in Italy and is now happening in Brazil.

Had we shut down earlier, say February, and implemented testing and contract tracing, like South Korea did, we’d be mostly back to normal now.

South Korea, has roughly 1/6th of our population and has well under 300 deaths.

        > Yes, the plan was for all the vulnerable people to DIE a few at a time, not all at once! Great idea! Meanwhile, nations that actually CARE for their citizens and spend their tax money doing so, contain the virus and then work at eliminating it completely( like S. Korea, Taiwan, etc.) Just shows what a 3rd world corrupt shithole nation the U.S. has become.
