Brodie Accepts Re-Appointment to Upgrade Airport Authority

Allegany County Commissioner Creade Brodie Jr. tells WCBC News that he accepted a re-appointment to the Potomac Highlands Airport Authority because he felt it important for board to be whole, and functioning again as the goal remains to see major upgrades begin at the airport. The authority manages the Greater Cumberland Regional Airport, but it has been clouded by controversy this year with leadership changes, in-fighting, potential legal challenges and the cancellation of the popular auto sports event.  Brodie, who was out of town last week when the county took action to re-appoint him, said it’s important to get the authority back on track…
