Buckel Named to Policing Workgroup

May 31st, 2020 by WCBC Radio

District 1-B Delegate Jason Buckel has been selected by House Speaker Adrienne Jones to join a workgroup on policing issues in the state.

Buckel released the following statement:

"I am honored to have been selected to participate in the workgroup addressing policing issues convened by the Speaker of House of Delegates today. We need to come together and strive to produce an environment where there are no more Derek Chauvins wearing a police uniform and abusing their authority, and also where citizens across the spectrum of our society feel more confident in and have better connections to our law enforcement professionals, so as to avoid and minimize the types of altercations that often lead to these horrible consequences. Looking forward to working with my colleagues with a variety of viewpoints and experiences from across Maryland to address these significant issues confronting our society."

There were no riots when recently a young African American severely beat an old Caucasian man in a nursing home. 50 times harder to watch. Look it up.

So crimes and injustices happen all of the time. White liberals and blacks destroying black communities to tantrum about it is pathetic
