Allegany County Tourism director Barb Buehl was a guest on the Dave Norman Program speaking on the recent struggle with whether to demolish the Footer Dye Works building. Canal Place has also been a point of contention recently with the Canal Place Authority asking for more funding to continue operation and to cut into their deficit. Buehl commented that even with the Dye Works building issues, Allegany County Tourism will continue to work to bring people to the area.
