Building Sale Means More Jobs for County

The Thursday evening’s Allegany County Commissioners meeting several announcements were made in regards to job growth and maintenance within the county through Rocky Gap's construction and slot parlor opening, inaddition to others. One announcement was the commercial contract of sale with Chessie Federal Credit Union for the sale of the former Blue Cross and Blue Shield building for $2.5 million. According to Commission President Mike McKay, this will spell a large growth of jobs in the area.
