Burglary suspects may face additional charges

The Cumberland Times News reports that on Wednesday at 1:24 a.m. the Cumberland Barrack of the Maryland State Police received a 911 call notifying them two men were breaking into garage on a property on Morningside Drive. Roy Thomas Engle, 30, Cumberland, and Dean William Miller, 30, Bedford, Pa., were allegedly removing wiring and copper pipes from the building and possessed burglary tools. Both men were arrested and were charged with numerous counts of burglary and malicious destruction of property. It is suspected that Engle and Miller may have burglarized other residences in the Naves Crossroad and Bedford areas. The men were operating a green 1997 Chevrolet Blazer with Pennsylvania tags during the burglary. Anyone with information may contact Tfc.
