BW Officials Hope To Change Lack Of City High School Match-Ups

There has been a noticeable lack of city high school basketball match-ups scheduled in recent years- and officials with Bishop Walsh are hoping to change that. Bishop Walsh has developed a power house boys basketball program under coach Dan Prete in the past year- leading to speculation that coaches at Allegany and Fort Hill high schools aren’t interest in scheduling the Spartans. BW Principal Ray Kiddy, and the schools athletic director, met with team officials from Allegany and Fort Hill recently attempting to resolve the situation.
