February 18th, 2020 by WCBC Radio

The Bishop Walsh Board has announced the retirement of Dr. Raymond Kiddy as principal at the end of the 2019-2020 school year. After retiring from the Allegany County Public School system with 40 years as an administrator, educator and high school and collegiate-level coach, KIddy re-joined BW full-time in the fall of 2015 as dean of students and athletic director. He was named principal in 2016. Kiddy originally began his teaching career at BW as a physical education instructor and coach, establishing the BW Soccer Program in its current form. BW Board President David Turnbull said that the board is working closely with the Archidiocese of Baltimore to fill the position of principal. An announcement will be made at the end of the school year.
