Calvart County Man Arrested on Drug Charges in Cumberland

On June 15th, 2018, at approximately 1730hrs, Deputies from the Allegany County Sheriff's Office acting on a tip from the Calvert County Sheriff's Office took Ashley Marie Tilch, 30, w/f of Owings Mills, MD into custody at an address on Willbrook Road, Cumberland, MD.  Tilch was actively wanted by the Circuirt of Calvert County for failing to appear on the charge of CDS possession other than marijuana. 

 

During a seach of Tilch, Deputies located an amount of Alprazolam a controlled substance. Tlich was being held at the Allegany County Detention Center pending transfer to Calvert County. Tilch was also served with a criminal summons for the Alprazolam possession and will be required to return to this jurisdiction for trial at a later date.

Failure to Appear (Calvert County)

Possession Not Marijuana (Allegany County)

 

On June 15th, 2018 at approximately 2000hrs, Deputies from the Allegany were directed to a residence on Paradise Street, MIdland, MD for a subject reportedly assaulting another with a baseball bat. Sheriff Craig Robertson and two plain clothes Deputies (assigned to special enforcement in the area) arrived on the scene with minutes of the initial call. 

 

The investigation into the situation revealed that Garrett Todd Wilson, 28, w/m of Midland, MD had struck, James Wills,34, w/m of Frostburg, MD in the face with a baseball bat. After Deputies were able to observe Mills to be missing several teeth as a result of the strike, Wilson was placed under arrest. Mills was transported to the Western Maryland Health System via Geoges Creek Ambulance for treatment of his injuries. The Midland Volunteer Fire Department also responded to the scene.

 

Wilson was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center to be held without bond.
