U.S. Senator Ben Cardin will join a wide range of public health practitioners and advocates in Hagerstown Monday to underscore the importance to local communities of investments in federally qualified health centers and other essential sources of quality health care. Senator Cardin and participants will discuss the many challenges that must be overcome to provide consistent and affordable coverage. Discussion also will include an exchange of perspectives on anticipated forthcoming challenges and opportunities resulting from recent congressional tax and budget legislation.
