Saturday afternoon, Cumbreland police officers responded to 900 block of Maryland Avenue for an assault that had just occurred. Upon the officers arrival they contacted the victim who stated he had just been assaulted by Julie Lee Davis.
The officers then contacted Davis, who had several prescription pills lying near her person. Davis told the officers the pills belonged to her; however was unable to produce verification for her statements.
As a result the officers placed Davis under arrest and transported her to the Cumberland Police department for processing. Davis was then transported to District Court for her initial appearance before a commissioner. As a result of the hearing Davis was held at the Allegany County Detention Center on a $3,500.00 bond.

Charge: CDS possession not marijuana
