CEDC & DDC Hires Cochran Studio To Create Plans For Baltimore St. Redevelopment Project

The Cumberland Economic Development Corporation and the Downtown Development Commission have announced the hiring of Cochran Studio to prepare a streetscape design plan and public art plan for the Baltimore Street Redevelopment Project. The Project involves the introduction of a single lane of automobile and bicycle traffic along the current pedestrian mall, the replacement of aging underground infrastructure and utilities, and the installation of fiber optic cable. The City hired the EADS Group in September, 2017 to serve as project engineers. EADS has been aggressively working since that time to identify and map the existing infrastructure and prepare engineering drawings for the conversion of the pedestrian mall.
