The Cumberland Economic Development Corporation, in an effort to improve the quality of life for businesses and their employees, is interested in assisting the Humpty Dumpty Learning Center. Access to quality day care facilities is among the top priorities listed by most businesses in the area or considering locating here. With the adjacent Centre Street United Methodist Church about to close- the future of the Humpty Dumpty day care center is now in question. Humpty Dumpty has been in operation since 1969 and accommodates more than 100 kids- with a waiting list in place.
