Parents of the children involved in the all-terrain vehicle accident that killed 4-year-old Tailynn Felker of Scratch Hill Road have been charged with endangering the welfare of a child, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
Criminal charges against Bradley Felker, 28, and Stacy Felker, 35, both of Scratch Hill Road were filed in Somerset County Magisterial District Court on Friday.
All of the family members reside at the same address, including the 14-year-old girl who was driving the Polaris ATV when it flipped around 5 p.m. Monday at the railroad crossing on Scratch Hill Road. In addition to Tailynn, a 1-year-old boy and two girls ages 3 and 9 were passengers on the ATV.
Bradley Felker is Tailynn’s father and Stacy is her great-aunt, according to online obituaries.
None of the children was wearing a helmet, according to the police report.
