The West Virginia Children's Health Insurance Program issued a statement on the program this week:
"We are pleased to announce that Congress passed a bill on January 22, 2018, that includes six years of funding for CHIP. Therefore, there will be no interruption to enrollment or claims payments for WVCHIP for the next six years. We realize this may have been a stressful time for our members and wanted to reassure you that WVCHIP will continue at this time to serve our children and families in West Virginia.
