Tomorrow (Saturday, October 12) from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM is "Citizen Scrap Tire Drop-off Day". This is for "Allegany County Residents ONLY". Each resident is permitted up to 10 tires per vehicle. Only one visit per resident is permitted. Passenger, Light Truck, and Agricultural tires will be accepted. NO RIMS ACCEPTED! NO Commercial Vehicle or Business Tires accepted. Cost is "FREE OF CHARGE".
Recycling Coordinator Terry Bennett said that each resident must bring a utility bill to show proof of residency along with ID. County Commissioner Creade Brodie Jr said this is an outstanding program for area citizens…
