The Cumberland Mayor and City Council voted this week to enter into a $1.5 million contract with Carl Belt Inc. to provide street paving over the next two years. The city is still working on developing a list of streets to pave. According to city staff, Mechanic Street as well as the roads leading to the new Allegany High School on Haystack Mountain are likely to receive new paving. City Administrator Jeff Rhodes…
