City Awards Community Legacy Funds To Canal Place

    Besides the fact that giving Canal Place any funds is throwing good money after bad, it is not part of the “Central Business District”. It is no accident that there is not a Mensa chapter within a hundred miles of Cumberland.

    Accessibility improvements at 12 locations? New signs pointing the way to the Montessori school? Fixing cracks in the pavement? What does this mean? What will $50,000 be spent on , exactly? Who will benefit?
