It was a relatively lite agenda for the first Cumberland Mayor and City Council meeting of the new year, but the city did approve a couple of key pieces of business. One of those was to extend real property tax credits to the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad for the 2017/2018 fiscal year. The tax credit will total $29,058.89. The city has extended the tax credit in prior years.
