Five Said To Have Interest In City Council

Time is running out for anyone wishing to express their interest in serving as a city council member in Cumberland. Councilman David Kauffman will be resigning his seat at the end of the month, having taken a new job outside the area. The Mayor and City Council of Cumberland have invited Cumberland citizens to consider serving as a member of the City Council to fill the vacancy. Although the deadline is tomorrow, heading into the holiday weekend, just one letter had been received. Mayor Brian Grim….





 

UPDATE:  Mayor Grim tells WCBC that five individuals have submitted letters of interest, but an earlier report of Rock Cioni being one of them may have been premature.
