City Man Arrested After Burglary

On 10/17/15 at 12:22am the Cumberland Police Dept responded to a residence located in the 100blk of Memorial Ave in reference to a trespassing complaint. Upon arrival Officers contacted the complainant who stated that 18 year old Shaolin Murray of Cumberland came to the residence to obtain some personal belongings. The complainant stated that they did not want Murray on their property at this time and he had forced open the rear door to gain entry into the apartment. It was also confirmed that Murray had been served with a no trespass order forbidding him to be on the property. At this time Officer’s located Murray attempting to hide in a bedroom of the residence where he was taken into custody without incident. Murray was transported to the Cumberland Police Dept where he was processed and charged with one count of Burglary Fourth Degree and Trespass on Private Property. Murray was taken for an initial appearance at District Court where he was held on a $5,000 bond pending his next court appearance in District Court.
