On Saturday, January 17, 2015 at approximately 2:00 a.m., the Cumberland Police Department responded to the parking lot of a fast food restaurant located on Queen City Drive in reference to a disturbance.  Upon the officers arrival contact was made with one of the subjects involved identified as Jakeenan Corderay Jennings.  Jennings was very agitated over the disturbance.  Jennings stated that he was walking home and as he approached this area he observed a several subjects inside of a vehicle and they were recording him without his permission using their cellular phones.  Jennings became angry and confronted the subjects.  Jennings stated that the subjects exited the vehicle and wanted to fight him.  While the officer was speaking with Jennings he had to continually tell him to lower his voice and to calm down.

Due to Jennings load tone and yelling numerous bystanders came to the area to see what the yelling was about.  Jennings was warned again to lower his voice because he was continuing to create a disturbance.  Jennings failed to comply and he was placed under arrest for disorderly conduct.

The occupants of the vehicle were contacted and they stated that they were just trying to proceed through the drive thru of the restaurant when Jennings approached the car and began yelling at them and spitting on the car and one of the occupants.

Jennings was transported to Police Headquarters for processing and was issued a criminal citation charging him with one count of disorderly conduct.  Jennings was released from police Headquarters pending further action in District court at a later date.
