City Man Cited For Trespassing On Scenic Railroad Tracks

Saturday afternoon, Cumberland Police responded to the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad on Canal Street for a subject refusing get off the tracks. 

Officers arrived and made contact with Jason Dillon Roager in the middle of the tracks.  Roager was in the same area of the tracks which is clearly marked “No Trespassing”.  The officers asked Roager why he was on the tracks when he began to argue with them.  He refused to leave stating he had the right to be on the tracks. 

Roager was taken into custody without incident.  He was transported to Police Headquarters for processing.  Roager was later released from custody pending trial in District Court.
