On Saturday, the Cumberland City Police Department responded to the area of Rose’s Plaza, Queen City Drive for a harassment incident.
When officers arrived, they learned that complainant in the matter was in the company of a female that had a protective order against him. Officers confirmed through District Court that the order was still active and James Glenn Porter was arrested for violation of the order.
He was later taken before the District Court Commissioner and was released on his own personal recognizance pending trial.
