Violate ExParte Arrest –
In the early morning hours of Saturday, October 23, 2015 the Cumberland Police Department received a call regarding a possible violation of an Ex Parte Order. Officers arrived at an Industrial Blvd address and located the suspect, Christopher Adam Johnston, in a nearby area. Upon speaking with Johnston he admitted to speaking with the complainant on the telephone and walking to the residence and knocking on the door. The court order stated Johnston was to not to have any contact with the complainant or attempt to contact her at her residence. Johnston was then placed under arrest and transported to the Cumberland Police Department for processing. He was then transported to the Allegany County District Court Commissioner’s Office and was later released on his personal recognizance.
