Chaos continues to be the norm for the new Mayor and Council in Keyser- with the most recent incident occurring when retiring city clerk Brandi Paugh stormed out of her final meeting in tears and uttering profanities. The Mineral Tribune reports that prior to the most recent regular Keyser City Council meeting, Paugh, who has worked for the city for three years, had submitted her resignation, with her intended last day of employment being last Friday. As she left she provided a reporter with a list of her complaints she had made against the new mayor and council. The list, which she also gave to resident Brenda Kitzmiller, includes such items as alleged improper hiring practices, raises given without council approval, and investigations into records dealing with a former employee.
