City Police Arrest Two For Disorderly Conduct

On Saturday, March 17, 2018, just after 9:00 PM, officers from the Cumberland Police Department responded to a Thomas Street business in reference to a subject refusing to leave the property.  Upon their arrival, they contacted staff who directed them to the subject who was refusing to leave.  Officers contacted Tara Werner who was intoxicated and argumentative.  Werner was being disruptive in the presence of other people in the area.  Werner continued to refuse to leave the property after being warned several times by officers.  Werner refused to listen to the officers.  She then approached an officer and started yelling at him.  Werner was arrested for disorderly conduct and trespassing.  She was transported to the police station where she continued to be uncooperative.  Werner was issued criminal citations and released pending trial.

On Sunday, March 18, 2018 at approximately midnight, an officer from the Cumberland Police Department observed a subject, later identified as Eric Brugnoli, yelling at people in the area of an establishment on S. Centre Street.  Brugnoli’s behavior attracted the attention of several patrons.  The officer warned Brugnoli to leave the area.  Brugnoli then began arguing with other people in the area.  Brugnoli was arrested for disorderly conduct and transported to the police station where he was issued a criminal citation and released pending trial.
