On Thursday May 17, 2018 at 11:47 am, officers from the Cumberland Police Department responded to the 100 block of Welton Drive for a theft complaint. When officers arrived on the scene they learned that Megan Geiger, and Kandie Scarpelli-Miller, both age 28, of Cumberland where waiting inside the business for an appointment. While in the business they stole multiple items and concealed them inside of a purse. All items were recovered, and both Scarpelli-Miller and Geiger were placed under arrest. They were then transported to Police Headquarters where they were both charged on Criminal Citations for theft under $1000. They were then released pending trial in District Court.
