On Wednesday, July 19th, 2017, the Cumberland City Police responded to the Virginia Avenue Rite Aid for the report of a shoplifter inside of the store. When the officer arrived, store employees had already detained the female suspect. She was identified as Kimberly Ann Troutman of Cumberland. Troutman was stopped by a clerk when she attempted to leave the store with approximately $53.00 of unpaid merchandise. She was placed under arrest and transported to the Cumberland City Police Station and later released after being issued a criminal citation for theft less than $100.00.

Charge: Theft less than $100.00.
