The Cumberland City Police is seeking information on a Burglary that occurred at a business in the 400 block of Virginia Ave. On the morning of May 12, 2017 at 5:08 a.m., officers responded to the area for a suspicious complaint. Subsequently, officers located a white male wearing a dark blue wind breaker and jeans fleeing the area. Officers attempted to locate the suspect; however, their efforts were unsuccessful. Anyone with information related to this burglary is asked to contact the Cumberland Police Department at 301-777-1600.
On May 12, 2017, officers from the Cumberland Police Department responded to the 500 block of Lowell Ave. for a burglary complaint. When officers arrived they meet with the complainant. Officers learned that someone had broken into the property through a rear door sometime after May 11, 2017. The complainant further advised that older currency and coins were stolen as well as other items. Anyone with any information about this case is asked to contact the Cumberland Police at 301-777-1600
