On 5/24/2018 the Cumberland City Police responded to a business in the 200 block of Greene Street for an assault complaint. Officers were able to identify a suspect in that case and learned he was currently wanted for assault and failure to appear. Officers located the suspect Tavares Kiyum Rudolph on Greene Street. Mr. Rudolph fled the scene and was apprehended after a foot pursuit. Mr. Rudolph was taken before a District Court Commissioner for an initial appearance for the warrants. Mr. Rudolph was held at the Allegany County Detention Center on $1,000.00 bond. Additional charges are pending in this incident.
