City Police Make Assault Arrest And Serves Bench Warrant

On Monday, July 1st, 2019 the Cumberland Police Department arrested Aaron Scott Long for disorderly conduct.  A Cumberland Police Officer was on patrol in the area of N. Centre Street when he observed a male acting suspiciously.  The officer approached the male and he fled on foot.  A short chase ensued and officers located the male who was identified as Aaron Scott Long a short time later.  He was issued a criminal citation for disorderly conduct and released pending trial.

Bench Warrant Served

 

On Monday, July 1st, 2019 the Cumberland Police Department served a bench warrant on Christopher Shawn Miller.  The warrant was issued by District Court when Miller failed to appear for trial on June 27th, 2019 for a disorderly conduct charge.  He was taken before the District Court Commissioner and remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center held on a $500 bond.

Assault Arrest

On Tuesday, July 2nd, 2019 the Cumberland Police Department served an arrest warrant on Elihadgi Malike Fall.  The warrant was issued by District Court in reference to an investigation that took place on June 21st, 2019 on Pennsylvania Avenue where Fall is alleged to have broke into a residence and assaulted two males.  He was charged with assault 1st and 2nd, home invasion, and dangerous weapon with the intent to injure.  An additional Circuit Court warrant was also served on Fall that was issued back in December 15th, 2017.  He was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center held without bond.
