City Police Make Burglary Arrest

On August 30, 2018, at approximately 2043 hrs, officer from the Cumberland City Police Department responded to the 500 block of Fairmont Avenue for a burglary complaint.  Upon arrival officers spoke with the occupants who advised that Travares Rudolph, age 41, of Cumberland had broken into the residence and was currently inside. Officers entered the residence and located Rudolph in an upstairs bedroom. Upon investigating the complaint, officers learned that Rudolph had used a screw driver to gain access to the residence through a window. At the conclusion of the investigation Rudolph was placed under arrest for 4th degree burglary. Rudolph was then transported to the Cumberland Police Department for processing. He was then later taken in front of a District Court Commissioner for his Initial Appearance, and released on his personal recognizance pending trial.
