On June 5, 2018 Cumberland City Police served a circuit court warrant on Jerrica Leigh Hamilton, age 28 of Cumberland, Maryland.  Hamilton was charged for failing to appear in court. Hamilton was arrested, processed, served and taken to the Allegany County Detention Center.  Hamilton is being held without bond.

Arrest Warrant Served

On June 5, 2018 Cumberland City Police served a circuit court warrant on Perry Nelson Hamilton Jr. age 37 of Cumberland, MD.  Hamilton was charged for failing to appear in court. Hamilton was arrested, processed, served and taken to the Allegany County Detention Center.  Hamilton is being held without bond.

Arrest Warrant Served

On June 5, 2018 Cumberland City Police served an arrest warrant on Scott Jasin Twigg, age 19 of Lonaconing, Maryland.  Twigg was charged with failing to appear for trial in District Court. Twigg was arrested and taken to the Cumberland City Police Department for processing.  Twigg was processed, served and taken before the District Court Commissioner. Twigg was later released on his own personal recognizance.

Domestic Assault Arrest

On June 5, 2018 officers from the Cumberland City Police Department responded to 220 Somerville Avenue for a domestic assault.  Upon the officers arrival they made contact with a female victim. During an investigation into the matter officers learned from the victim that she was assaulted by her daughter, Destiny Anne Hager(Bridges).  Hager had fled the area prior to the officer’s arrival. Officers learned from the victim that Hager had a drug addiction and demanded money from her mother. When she was denied money, Hager struck her mother in the face leaving a visible injury.  Officers located Hager a short distance away and placed her under arrest. Hager was transported to the Cumberland City Police Department for processing. Hager was processed, served and taken before the District Court Commissioner. Hager was released on her own personal recognizance.
