City Police Make Warrants & Disturbance Arrests

On May 2, 2017 the Cumberland Police served a Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear on Johnny Mathew Kincaid.  Kincaid failed to appear in District Court on April 25, 2017 on a charge of Driving Without a License.  Kincaid was taken before a District Court Commissioner where he was released on his personal recognizance pending trial in District Court.

Arrested: 

Johnny Mathew Kincaid, age:  18, Cumberland, MD

Charges:  Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear

Warrant Arrest

On May 2, 2017 the Cumberland Police served an Arrest Warrant on Nathan Bradley Ridgeley for Arson Threat.  The charges stem from an incident the Cumberland Police investigated on March 10, 2017.  During that incident police learned Ridgeley had sent threatening messages to two adult victims through social media regarding their house being burned down.  Ridgeley was taken before a District Court Commissioner where he was held on $8500.  He was taken to the Allegany County Detention Center to await his next appearance in District Court.

Nathan Bradley Ridgeley, age:  37, Cumberland, MD

Charges:  Arson/Threat

Disturbance Arrest

On May 2, 2017 at approximately 4:48 PM the Cumberland Police responded to the 200 block of Pennsylvania Avenue for the report of a disturbance.  Police began investigating the incident, but were interrupted by Danyel Marie Morris, who continued to yell at a male subject.  Morris was told several times to stop creating a disturbance and to keep the peace.  Morris started walking away but stopped in front of the residence where the male subject was located and began yelling at him again.  At that time Morris was placed under arrest.  She was issued a criminal citation for Disorderly Conduct and was released pending trial in District Court.

Charges:  Disorderly Conduct

Disturbance Arrest

On May 3, 2017 at approximately 2:24 AM the Cumberland Police responded to the 300 block of Furnace Street for a disturbance between two adult males.  As police were conducting their investigation Jerry Dwayne Hunt continued to interrupt them and yell.  The officers told him several times to stop yelling, but he failed to obey their orders.  Hunt continued to yell and was placed under arrest.  He was issued criminal citations for Fail to Obey and Disturbing the Peace and was released pending trial in District Court.
