On November 30, 2016, at 11:50 am, Officers from the Cumberland Police Department responded to the 300 block of High Bedford St. for an assault complaint. Upon arrival officers contacted Kendra Oyler and the victim. Officers investigating the incident found that an argument had occurred between Oyler and the victim. The argument escalated to a physical altercation and the victim was assaulted. Officers observed minor injuries to the victim. At the conclusion of the investigation, officers placed Kendra Oyler, age 38, of Cumberland, MD, under arrest. Oyler was taken to the Cumberland Police Department where she was charged with Second Degree Assault. She was later taken to District Court for her Initial Appearance and released on her own recognizance.
