City Police Serve Arrest Warrants

On January 18, 2018 the Cumberland Police served a Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear on Desper Borroy Johnson.  Johnson failed to appear for court on February 16, 2017 on an original charge of Theft Less Than $100.  Johnson was taken before a District Court Commissioner where he was released on his personal recognizance pending trial in District Court.

Arrested:

Desper Borroy Johnson:  62, Cumberland, MD

Charges:  Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear

 

On January 17, 2018 the Cumberland Police served an arrest warrant on Trey John Blowe.  The warrant charges Blowe with 2nd Degree Assault after a private citizen filed charges on him for an incident that occurred on January 3, 2018 in the 100 block of Utah Avenue.  An adult female victim alleges Blowe pushed her to the ground, struck her in the face, and kicked her.  No injuries were reported in the incident.  Blowe was taken before a District Court Commissioner where he was held on $2500 bond.  He was taken to the Allegany County Detention Center to await his next appearance in District Court.

WARRANT SERVICE

On Wednesday October 12, 2016, Cumberland City Police served an arrest warrant on Jordan Shook, age 30, of Cumberland, Maryland.  The warrant was issued by the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services Maryland Parole Commission as a result of Shook failing to follow the conditions of his parole.  Shook was remanded directly to the Western Maryland Correctional Institute.

 

WARRANT SERVICE

On Wednesday October 12, 2016, Cumberland City Police served an arrest warrant on Derek Younger, age 25 of Cumberland, Maryland.  On September 22, 2016, Cumberland City Police Officer’s responded to a private residence on Boone Street for a breaking and entering complaint.  Investigation into this matter revealed that Younger was observed inside the premises of the residence which was vacant at the time.  Younger left the prior to the officer’s arrival.  No items of value were taken.  Younger was processed, served and taken to the Allegany County District Court Commissioner’s Office for a bond hearing and was released on his personal recognizance pending trial at the Allegany County District Court.

CHARGES:  Burglary 4th Degree, Disorderly Conduct.
