WARRANT SERVICE

On Wednesday October 12, 2016, Cumberland City Police served an arrest warrant on Jordan Shook, age 30, of Cumberland, Maryland.  The warrant was issued by the Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services Maryland Parole Commission as a result of Shook failing to follow the conditions of his parole.  Shook was remanded directly to the Western Maryland Correctional Institute.

 

WARRANT SERVICE

On Wednesday October 12, 2016, Cumberland City Police served an arrest warrant on Derek Younger, age 25 of Cumberland, Maryland.  On September 22, 2016, Cumberland City Police Officer’s responded to a private residence on Boone Street for a breaking and entering complaint.  Investigation into this matter revealed that Younger was observed inside the premises of the residence which was vacant at the time.  Younger left the prior to the officer’s arrival.  No items of value were taken.  Younger was processed, served and taken to the Allegany County District Court Commissioner’s Office for a bond hearing and was released on his personal recognizance pending trial at the Allegany County District Court.

CHARGES:  Burglary 4th Degree, Disorderly Conduct.

ARREST WARRANT SERVED

On Wednesday, October 5, 2016, the Cumberland Police Department served an arrest warrant on Shannon Grapes.  The warrant stemmed from a reported shoplifting incident that occurred at an Allegany County business on September 11, 2016.  Charges were filed against Grapes at the Allegany County District Court Commissioner’s Office.  An arrest warrant was issued.   Grapes was located, placed under arrest, processed, and taken to the District Court Commissioner’s Office where she was released on her personal recognizance pending trial at the District Court of Allegany County.

 

ARRESTED:  Shannon Nicole Grapes         AGE: 32          Cumberland, MD

CHARGES:  Theft less than $1,000

 

ARREST WARRANT SERVED

On Wednesday, October 5, 2016, the Cumberland Police Department served an arrest warrant on Donna Fair.  The warrant stemmed from an incident that occurred on Park Street on September 29, 2016 in which Fair allegedly threatened to burn down a residence.  Charges were filed against Fair at the Allegany County District Court Commissioner’s Office.  An arrest warrant was issued.   Fair was placed under arrest, processed, and taken to the District Court Commissioner’s Office where she was released on her personal recognizance pending trial at the District Court of Allegany County.

CHARGES: Threat of Arson
