City Police Serve Arrest Warrants

On 7/16/2018 the Cumberland City Police served an arrest warrant on Leo Durocher Sr. Mr. Durocher was wanted on charges of burglary and assault. Mr. Durocher was taken before a District Court Commissioner for an initial appearance and released pending trial.

Arrested – Leo Richard Durocher (58) Cumberland, MD

Charges – Assault 2nd, Burglary 4th degree

 

On 7/16/2018 the Cumberland City Police served an arrest warrant on Rebecca Zajdel. Ms. Zajdel was wanted for failing to appear in District Court for disorderly conduct. Ms. Zajdel was taken before a District Court Commissioner for an initial appearance and released pending trial.

Arrested – Rebecca Reed Zajdel (27) Cumberland, MD

Charge – Failure to Appear

Arrest Warrant Served

 The Cumberland Police served an Arrest Warrant on Carina Smith, age 36, of Cumberland, MD.  The Arrest Warrant stemmed from a hit and run incident that occurred on May 5, 2018.  Officers investigating the incident were able to determine that Smith was operating a vehicle in the area of Beall St. and struck another vehicle.  Smith then fled the scene and officers were unable to locate her or the vehicle at the time.  An Application for Charges was filed in District Court and Smith was charged with Driving on a suspended license, failing to report a property damage accident, failing to stop after unattended property damage accident, and failing to notify the owner of said damaged property after an accident.  Smith was served with the Arrest Warrant and taken before a District Court Commissioner for her Initial Appearance. She was then released on her own recognizance pending trial. 

 

Arrest Warrant Served

The Cumberland Police served two arrest Warrants on Alonzo Butler Jr., age 45, of Cumberland, MD.  Both Warrants stemmed from Butler failing to appear in the District Court on June 6, 2018.  Butler was served with both Arrest Warrants and taken before a District Court Commissioner for his Initial Appearance.  He was then released on his own recognizance on both Arrest Warrants pending trial. 

 

Arrest Warrant Served

The Cumberland Police served an Arrest Warrant on Jamie Dolly, age 25, of Cumberland, MD.  The Arrest Warrant charged that Dolly violated her conditions of probation.  Dolly was served with the Arrest Warrant and taken before a District Court Commissioner for her Initial Appearance.  She then remanded to Allegany County Detention Center on a $500 bond.
