City Police Serve Criminal Summons And Respond To Protective Order Violation

On July 24, 2018, the Cumberland Police served a Criminal Summons on Ashley Kline, 34, of Cumberland, MD.  The Criminal Summons stemmed from an incident that occurred on June 29, 2018.  As a result of the incident an Application for Charges was applied for in District Court. Kline was then charged with Secondary Assault and Disorderly Conduct.  She was served with the Criminal Summons and released pending trial. 

 

Protective Order Violation

On July 24, 2018 at 8:49 pm, officers from the Cumberland Police Department responded to First St. for a Protective Order violation.  Upon arrival officers contacted the victim and discovered that Christian Liller, age 35, of Cumberland had violated the court order. Officers were able to locate Liller where he was placed under arrest.  Liller was taken to the Cumberland Police Department where he was charged with two counts of violating a Protective Order.  Liller was then transported to District Court for his Initial Appearance and remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center without bond.
