City Police Serve Multiple Criminal Summons

On Wednesday, The Cumberland City Police Served the Following Criminal Summons:

Melissa Morgan, age 32, Cumberland, MD.  Charges in this case stem from a June 30, 2017 incident where Morgan was charged with numerous traffic charges for a hit and run accident.  A more in-depth investigation led to discovering that Morgan had altered the vehicle registration.  An application for charges was applied for at District Court and a Criminal Summons was issued.  Morgan was served with the Summons and released pending trail.

Amanda Withrow, age 30, Cumberland, MD.  Charges in this case stem from a July 10, 2017 incident.  On July 10th, officers responded to 1000 block of Ford Ave. for a theft complaint.  When officers arrived they discovered the victim had left his wallet in a waiting room area of business. When the victim returned to try and find the wallet it was gone.   Subsequently, video footage was reviewed and Withrow was seen taking the wallet.  Officers then applied for charges at District Court and a Criminal Summons was issued for Theft less than $1000.  Withrow was served with the Criminal Summons and released pending trial. 

Joshua Clark, age 22, Cumberland, MD. Charges in this case stem from a July 11, 2017 incident.  During this incident, the victim alleged that Clark had punched a window causing it to shatter. The victim further advised that the window broke nearly striking a young child.  Due to incident, officers applied for charges at District Court and a Criminal Summons was issued for Destruction of Property under $1000, Disorderly Conduct, and Reckless Endangerment.  Clark was served with the Criminal Summons and released pending trial.
