On Monday November 28, 2016, Cumberland City Police served two bench warrants on Joshua Baker, age 38 of Cumberland, Maryland. The warrants were issued by the Allegany County Circuit Court as a result of Baker failing to appear for two separate child support contempt hearings on November 16, 2016. Baker was held at the Allegany County Detention Center on a $200.00 dollar bond.

On Monday November 28, 2016, Cumberland City Police served a bench warrant on Vanessa Becker, age 32 of Cumberland, Maryland. The warrant was issued as a result of Becker failing to appear for a hearing on November 14, 2016 for a previous theft arrest. Becker was processed, served and taken to the Allegany County District Court Commissioner’s Office for a bond hearing. Becker was held on a $1,000.0 dollar bond at the Allegany County Detention Center.
