City Police Serves Bench Warrant And Criminal Summons

On Sunday, June 11, 2017, the Cumberland Police Department served a bench warrant on Kristin Gulick.  The warrant was issued as a result of Gulick failing to follow the conditions of her probation.  Gulick was arrested and taken before the District Court Commissioner where she was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center on a $1,000 bond.

CRIMINAL SUMMONS SERVED

 

On Sunday, June 11, 2017, the Cumberland Police Department served a criminal summons on Robert Cooksey.  The summons was issued as a result of an incident that occurred earlier this month.  On June 8, 2017 at approximately 2:00 AM, the Cumberland Police Department responded to a Valley Street business for an assault complaint.  Upon the officers’ arrival, they contacted Cooksey who reported that he was assaulted.  Cooksey had been told by police earlier in the night to leave and not return to the property. After further investigation, police determined that Cooksey would be charged with Trespassing and Disorderly Conduct.  Charges were filed by the Cumberland Police Department at the Allegany County District Court.  A summons was issued. Cooksey was served with the summons and released pending trial.

CHARGES:  Trespassing: Private Property, Disorderly Conduct
