City Squad Makes Pair Of Arrests

Officers responded to the Save-A-Lot Market for a report of a disturbance.

Upon their arrival they made contact with the store employee who advised that the subject had laid on the floor and ate food off of the shelf. She refused to leave or pay for the food when asked. Officers observed a female subject identified as Tammy Iliff, 45, leaning up against a shelf eating a bag of chips. The Pennsylvania Avenue woman was unable to pay for the chips when requested to by the officer.

Iliff was then placed under arrest and transported to PH where she was processed and charged on a Criminal Citation.

Officers also responded to a residence on Columbia Street for a report of a subject trespassing and refusing to leave.

Upon their arrival they contacted the victim who advised that he met a subject identified as 57 year old Robert Porter at McDonald’s who advised that he was homeless. He stated that due to him being homeless with the cold weather he offered him a place to stay for the night.

When he woke up this morning he observed that Porter was extremely intoxicated and had urinated himself. He was asked to leave at this time and refused. Officers made contact with Porter who again refused to leave stating to them that they would have to arrest him.

He was placed under arrest and transported to PH where he was processed and charged on a Criminal Citation.
