When the Cumberland Mayor and City Council made the unpopular decision last year to increase city taxes by nearly ten percent- it was done so with a pledge to work toward lowering the rate as soon as this year. The city is in the earliest stages of its budget process for the next fiscal year- and Mayor Brian Grim says its simply too soon to project whether or not any tax relief can be offer this year…
