Cumberland City Police are investigating a possible abduction that occurred on Wednesday March 1, 2017 at about 7:30 on Park Street. The victim, an eighteen year female was walking in the 100 block of Park Street when a white male, described to be in his mid fifties, pulled up beside her in a silver PT Cruiser with a bike rack on the back. The suspect asked the victim if she needed a ride. When the victim said no, the suspect reached across from within his vehicle and attempted to drag her inside. The victim pulled away and ran home. The suspect vehicle was last seen travelling towards the area of Martins Market on Park Street.
