City Woman Held After Maryland Avenue Incident

On Saturday, the Cumberland Police Department responded to a Maryland Avenue residence for a domestic disturbance.

When officers arrived, they learned that Tyisha S. Miller was arguing with family member and at some point, Miller pushed the family member down and removed a sum of currency from their pocket.

Miller was arrested and later taken before the District Court Commission who remanded her to the Allegany County Detention Center held without bond.

Tyisha Shawntelle Miller, age: 31, Cumberland, Maryland.

Charges: Robbery, assault 2nd, theft less than $100, and destruction of property.

Held without bond.
