For several years now the Allegany County Commissioners have expressed frustration with dealing with what they believe to be unnecessary bureaucratic “red tape” when it comes to getting permit approval from the State Highway Administration. All three commissioners have said such roadblocks are delaying, and in some cases killing plans for potential new businesses.
