Although there were some frustrations expressed by the Allegany County Commissioners when Governor Larry Hogan came out against fracking earlier this year- overall, the local officials say they are extremely satisfied with their relationship with the Hogan administration. Commissioner Creade Brodie Jr. has said repeatedly that it seems as though Western Maryland didn’t exist in the mind of the O’Malley administration- however those days are gone.
