Comptroller Cautions Optimist Job Growth Report

While Maryland’s economy may be showing some slow signs of recovery, Comptroller Peter Franchot cautions not to get too optimistic just yet- saying that there is still no real job growth to speak of. The comptroller, who visited Cumberland earlier this month, says that while there are any number of reports that show Maryland to be fiscally strong- and that the O’Malley administration routinely issues statements of incremental improvements in the job market- the reality is no real jobs are being created…
