How would this change affect individuals living within the county but not within the city limits of Cumberland? Would county property owners be chipping in on city trash collection and other city specific fees and taxes?
The city never has enough money to cover expenses and consolidating would be beneficial to them. How does the county justify the burden of more expense without just raising taxes and fees for everyone?

“Consolidation” is code for “elimination.” This is all a shell game to eliminate the city fire department so that Mayor Morris has money freed up to spend elsewhere.

Anybody who thinks the city and county combining will save any money needs to have their head examined!
