The latest county by county health rankings from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the University of Wisconsin are out. If you live in Allegany County you are likely among the unhealthiest people in the state. At least that's according to the survey that takes into account a long list of factors believed to contribute to physical and mental health. Those include such things like rates of obesity, access to doctors and dentists, how many people smoke, and availability of healthy foods. Allegany County ranked 22 out of 24 jurisdictions in Maryland in terms of good health; Garrett County came in at number 15.
